Pinwheel has grown to be the best Goodwill Ambassador any rescue could ask for. Born with cerebellar hypoplasia, he was surrendered to the farm, at 16 days old, when the owner realized that she could not give the care he needed to survive. As a kitten, Pinwheel could only walk in tight circles, often stumbling and falling. However, with expert care, two surgeries, love, and patience, he has grown into the cat everyone wants to meet when they visit the farm!
Pinwheel’s “miracle” didn’t come cheap though. So many of our cats and kittens come to us after painful neglect, abuse, and often with traumatic injuries. Even seemingly healthy cats often require diagnostic tests, x-rays, treatments, medications, and more.
Our commitment to these cats inspired us to start Pin’s Pals – Medical Care Fund. Your donation to Pin’s Pals will ensure that these cats can get immediate medical treatment that is needed, WHEN it is needed.
Our community and supporters have always been EXTREMELY generous when we have big-ticket expenses for veterinary care. We can't possibly thank you enough for that. However, week after week, we incur medical expenses that simply can't be covered by adoption fees. In one week alone we’ve had 3 different cats at the vet racking up over $600 in bills.
